Weekly Deals 8.10.14

Every week I like to browse through the promotions section on my email a look for good deals. I’m addicted to online shopping (it’s a problem I know) so I’m always looking for ways to save a buck. This week I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite sales/deals for you.

JCPenny: The Friends and family sales starts today for JCPenny. Get an extra 25% off your purchase with the online code JCFRNDS. Sale ends on August 12th. Personally, I don’t shop much at JCPenny, but with a code like that I could totally be talked into a few things. Especially good if you’re shopping for back-to-school.

Bath and Body Works: $12 three wick candles (today only). Buy 3 get 3 free on signature body care (ends today). Select hand soaps $4 (ends today). Free shipping with code SUMMERFREEBIE (today only). Also new fall soaps are 4 for $18 or 6 for $24. Lots of these deals are ending today so get in while you can. You can combine the sale candles with the reduced shipping and save even more.  EDIT: It’s now Monday and all of BBW’s sales have rolled over. 5 for $18 or 7 for $24 on all new hand soaps. Mason jar candles are $6 (Personally I like the mason jar candles better only because they’re easier for me to store and last me as long as a 3 wick). All signature body care products are buy 3 get 2 free. Use the code MONDAYFUNDAY today only to get $1 shipping.

Sephora: Summer Surge points ends today. You can earn bonus points with purchase is you are a beauty insider. Beauty Insiders get 2x, VIB get 3x, and VIB Rouge get 4x the points. This is an awesome way to bank some extra rewards points and maybe score some of the awesome new 500 point perk kits they’ve been rolling out lately. Also VIBs and VIB Rogues can grab a Summer Surge Party Set with 8 free deluxe samples with any $35+ purchase. Code is VIBPARTY. EDIT: The big Summer Surge ended yesterday. Sad Face. There’s still some great promos for VIBs. Use the promo code VIBLIP to get a lip sampler, VIBINSTANT for a skincare sampler, or VIBFRESH for a Fresh lip trio on a purchase of $35+. Not a VIB? Try the code DOLLYLIP to get a free deluxe sample of Buxom’s full on lip polish in the color Dolly. This is one of my personal favorites. If you haven’t tried it definitely pick it up.

Ulta: There’s always some kind of sale going on at Ulta. They have B1G1 50% off on Revlon, Loreal (eye and lip products only), Physician’s Formula, Maybelline and many others. They also have a B2G1 free on Aveeno Skincare and you can get a free Positively Radiant Facial Cleanser free with a $15 Aveeno purchase. So if you stack it right you could get 4 products for $15 (depending on what you buy).

Coastal Scents: All their 88 palettes are $8.88. Great buy if there’s a palette you’ve had your eye on for a while. This is the lowest price I think they offer them for so snag them while you can. (I’m still waiting for Revealed 2 to go back on sale).

There’s a few other ways I like to save some cash online. The first is with Ebates. If you shop online and aren’t using Ebates you’re missing out. They offer cash back from many of the stores you already shop. It’s free and easy to sign up. You can start earning cash back right away. I got my first check in the mail just a couple weeks ago. Follow this link to sign up http://bit.ly/1sfRqLZ.

The next way I like to save is with a couple of apps I found for my smartphone. The first one is called Ibotta. It allows you to search by store and find instant rebates for items you’re already buying. Find the rebate, redeem it, buy the item, and take a picture of your receipt. It’s so easy. I’ve been searching the app before and after I go shopping to see what money I can earn. You can get it everywhere: the grocery store, online, at the movies. Use this referral code to join my team and earn ever more bonuses: xbisnel.

Last app is called Checkout 51. This is a grocery only app where you can get rebates on items you’re already buying. They update their offers once a week and they have everything from shampoo to onions. Just download the app and start saving.

That’s my weekly roundup of some of the online deals I’m looking at. Let me know in the comments down below what you’re most interested in. As always thanks for stopping buy and have a great day.
